Teaching Art to Children & Adults
Christine Lamb is an inspiring, knowledgeable and enthusastic teacher of
art to both children and adults. The cornerstone of her philosophy is that
creativity grows from a safe environment that is not only stimulating and
fun but full of hands-on art experiences and encouragement.
Christine’s years of teaching experiences in continuing education art
classes and workshops for children and adults span community college, parks
& recreation programs, Artist in the Schools, Young Author Conferences in
both public and private schools and art therapy programs. Christine is a
conference presentor at Professional Teacher symposiums and currently
teaches art and spirit workshops in the Pacific Northwest.
Christine teaches Devotional Art Icon Workshops using both traditional and
comparative religious dieties, symbols and mysticism for your home
devotions. These workshops re-create sacred art traditions for solace and
spirituality in troubled times for both children and adults. Christine takes
you through the process in a step-by-step process, no previous art
experience is necessary and all materials are included in the supply fee.
Christine also teaches monthly Devotional Art Icon workshops at East West

"Christine Lamb is such a natural teacher of art. She has participated in
our Young Authors Convention (at Sacred Heart School) many times over the
past 16 years, and has given the students wonderful instruction and insight,
wrapped up in exciting delivery and thoughtful instruction. Her delivery and
interaction with the children is so dynamic, and she was able to bring her
talents to children from kindergarten on up to 8th grade.
The students and staff have absolutely loved her.
One of Christine's greatest attributes in student instruction is her wide
and varied skills and experiences. Aside from her incredibly successful
career in fine art, she has also illustrated children's books, designed toys
and toy packaging, and developed icons. She was able to bring these
experiences into the classroom by showing kids how to create art from text,
design toys for fast food promotional campaigns or create icons using gold
leaf, as well as other techniques and lessons. This diversity brought great
enrichment to the students. We'll call on her again and again to bring such
depth in art into our classrooms."
